Previous and Next Links While Browsing by Tag February 24, 2013 8:36 PM   Subscribe

When browsings by tag the only page nav links are numbers which takes careful aim to hit on a Nexus 7. "Previous" and "Next" links would greatly ease finger-based navigation.

This is a pony I could ride, even as someone who usually uses the tag pages on a computer.

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll give this some thought and discuss it.

Yep, Recent Activity is the page where I'd most appreciate this. It'd make easier for mouse-based people too.

I don't think I heard that quite right...did you say mouse-based people?

We discussed this, and because we don't use Previous/Next anywhere on the site we didn't want to start a new convention that could be confused with the Older/Newer links we already use in many places. As a compromise, we made the page links a little bigger so they'd be a bit easier to tap on mobile devices. You can see an example on the bottom of tag pages, like this one: art on MeFi.

Thanks, that's a lot better (for me, with my poor mouse control skillz).
