br clear bug October 14, 2002 11:56 AM   Subscribe

Posts which contain [br clear=all] (but, you know, with sharp pointy brackets) cause the following text on the front page to drop below the side bar in IE6 (Win XP).

Also, how does the 'clear=all' benefit the 'br' tag?

Ok, so it's not actually a bug, as the 'clear all' is doing exactly what it is supposed to. On the other hand, allowing the clear attribute might be sub optimal.

yeah, I'll have to add it to the illegal attributes list, as it wipes out the existing css.
