Can we bring back the floaty DHTML log list? June 9, 2001 7:25 AM Subscribe
How about bringing back the floaty DHTML log list? At least just for fun.
haha, I remember how annoying it was, too, (you had to move it around if you wanted to read the posts on the page)
But I would still like to see it! Not mandatory of course, but as an option!

It's been here forever, in all its antiquated glory.

alright! Lookin' good. Actually I kind of like that view. I think that was one of the first DHTML goodies I saw that didn't crash my browser or malfunction all the time. Hey mathowie, are you updating the logs listed, or are they the originals?

I'm offended by the choice of weblogs on the list! It's obviously just more A-List propoganda. As if we were only allowed to read those weblogs if we're Mefi members. I'm utterly apalled.
Oh wait...
I'm on that list.
Well, I'll be.
Ahem...
I'd like to lend my support to the movement to bring back the floaty weblog list to the front page. Consider this a yes vote.

Whoa. Man, does that thing leave little pixel turds all over Mac IE when you scroll up the page. And half of it gets cut off as you scroll down.
Cute, though.

Another plus about Opera. It stays parked up on the top left and when I scroll it scrolls up with the page. Well behaved DHTML... :-)
