Is it possible to edit a post after posting to the front page? July 13, 2001 12:33 PM   Subscribe

Is it possible to edit a post after posting to the front page? I apparently left off a closing .lt. and want to fix it but can't figure out how.

The only way is to mail Matt and ask him to modify it. He's deliberately designed the system so that posts cannot be edited by their authors once posted. It was a conscious choice by him.

Preview is cool. However, the only way I would have noticed this particular dumb move (I acknowledge wholeheartedly that I am an idiot) would be to notice that the the left bracket at the end of the post was still hyperlink colored. I had rather than so the post looked the same in preview as it would have had it been correctly formatted except for the very last character.

You know, if you could edit posts, people would then feel free to find me retarded based on my words, rather than my constant typos.

Which, thinking it over, works against me.

Nevermind.
