Uh, yeah, adam, while I do appreciate the correction (as I did for the purposes of my comment investigate each of your links carefully and wondered what that one was) the regular thing would be to put it in the thread where the people interested in that thread would see it.

followup.metafilter.org would fill a need that many have mentioned. I imagine this not as a place for new material but where old threads that haven't had any activity for, oh, a week or so pop up again, suddenly undead, when they have new posts added. In matt's copious free time....
