MeFite Printers?
I feel like I've seen MeFites say they have a printshop, for yard signs, tee shirts, swag, etc. We may order signs (Harris Walz, Obviously) and I'm happy to support a member with a business and competitive pricing.
I live at the end of a five and a half minute paragraph
I know people hate the gimcracks and gewgaws that litter any given website, but when you post the "Print Preview" version of an article, it means paragraphs that stretch out over a foot wide in many browsers (depending on the size of your screen, I guess) and that can be really hard to read. There are two today, for example. Could we maybe agree to making the "Print" version available in your post, but not as the main link? Just a suggestion.

Metafilter goes outside
FYI: Metafilter got a shout-out in the September print edition of Outside Magazine re: the NY Times Photoshoppery. Article is online as well. [more inside]
I'm not printing it, I'm reading it.
Please don't link just to the print format version of long articles. [more inside]
Print-friendly links when possible
blah blah woof woof--this is my nit to pick:
What is so hard about the concept of user friendly easier to read links? Printer friendly, where available, should be the default.
I assumed this was a given but perhaps if it were added to the explicit posting canon? It's a no brainer, folks.

Link changed from print-friendly
The thread I posted earlier has had it's link redirected away from the low bandwidth "printer-friendly" version to the high bandwidth version. Why?
