MeFi Mail Feature Request December 21, 2007 8:27 AM   Subscribe

MeFi Mail feature request: Under the Contacts tab you find the person's username as a link to their User page. I'd love to see that in the Inbox and Sent mail tab's use of the username, as well.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before. Don't spend much time on Talk.

Have you been good this year?

We purposely didn't link usernames in the inbox, because we wanted to make sure the only link on each incoming message line was a link just to that message.

I figured it'd be confusing and annoying if you clicked on a message to read it and instead ended up on someone's user page.

Maybe just a little "Sender's User Page" button before or after the sender name, instead of linking the name itself?

Hey! Hey! Also? Please?

Make the text box big! Make the text box biggERRRR!!!

I once got a 3040 word memail from he of the long long talking all the time, and the pipsqueakitude of the memail text box necessitated I use a word processor for something other than counting up words, agog. Boo to that.

Click the subject, and their user page is linked inside the message at the top.

You mean that when you read the message, the username in the From: line is linked to their profile, right?

(And in your sent mail, the name in the To: line links to your recipient.)

Yes, a bigger text box would be good for us prolix types. Please???

Why not a chocolate orange, maudlin?

I don't know. A Terry's peppermint orange (which doesn't taste like orange at all) rocks hard, but a chocolate orange? Meh. (Yeah, some disagree.)

DAMN RIGHT some disagree.

But you have to have a tangerine at the bottom of your stocking. It's Santa Law. Because peppermint gives you scurvy or summat.

Peppermint . . . I had a bad childhood experience with Frango Mint Chocolates, and am now wary of mint chocolates in general.

I don't really much like flavored chocolates in general, actually.

Never heard about the tangerine thing, though. Maybe because we never had stockings.
