It already reached 500, he disabled the account.
He came back under [NOT-HERMITOSIST] after a few other sockpuppets.
Then he returned to his old username back a few weeks ago.
There are at least two MetaTalk threads about this already, but I am too lazy to find them.

I think it had already hit 500, so hermitosis did disable his account. He never said for how long though, and after a month or so of being not-hermitosis (or something like that) he reactivated the account.

If I remember correctly. Or I've gotten my time streams crossed again and that's what will happen.

I'm sitting here trying to puzzle out the etymology of "misunderused," and I'll be damned if I can figure out what that's supposed to mean. Underused in a bad way? Doesn't "underused" already indicate it should be used more? Or does the added "mis" mean that even though it's underused, it's still used too much. Or it's not used enough, and it's only used in the wrong way?

I'm not trying to grammar nitpick here, I'm just a language nerd who's honestly curious and puzzled.

hermitosis crossed the threshold and closed his account on February 28th, 2008. It remained closed until November 10th, 2008, on which day he wrote to ask for clemency and it was granted.

- It was first addressed February 10th.
- His red-buttoning was noted February 28th.
- His return was called into question December 11th.
