Searching for the Young Folk Rebels November 29, 2010 6:02 PM Subscribe
Searching for an old post. It was a SLYT clip, if memory serves. I bellieve it was the introduction to a movie that featured three people (I think E. European gypsies) playing folk music in a field...
I've searched for the clip numerous times. For some reason, I always thought it was a Flapjax at Midnight post, but I've searched his posts and can't see it there. Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?

You know, that dance wasn't as safe as they said it was.

They did warn that you had to leave your friends behind.

But my friends didn't dance. They were no friends of mine.

Did they go where they wanted to? A place they could never find?

They are certainly acting like they are from out of this world.

Damn. Gator nails it right out of the bat. How could I not find that?
Thanks folks. You wouldn't believe how long I spent searching for that.

I cried because I had no hat,
Until I met a man who had no head.
He did, however, have a very expressive neck.

Heck, I'm the guy who posted it, and while I hadn't exactly forgotten it, it was nice to revisit these two fellows again. It had been a while. Reread the thread, too, and surprise, surprise! Delmoi didn't like it!

Great link and a good Dexy's reference in your title here. This thread's a winner.

Oh man, I've been trying to find that post for months now. For some dumb reason, it never occurred to me to post on MeTa... Thanks!

If anyone's curious, I found it by looking at the gypsy tag.

Ah, I tried eastern europe, folk music, albania, yugoslavia.
I thought I'd also tried accordion, but obviously not. Anyway, I'm so gratified to have this link again. Thanks once more.
