Projects Pony: Email Notification for FPPs August 24, 2009 12:27 PM   Subscribe

Projects pony: email notification when project is posted to the blue.

The notification on the projects page itself is cool, but if you're only checking the page through Recent Activity (as I did, with my most recent project) there's no indication that it's been posted to the main page of Metafilter. Could an automatic email containing the text of the notification that appears on the page be sent to the poster?

I still don't know how I missed it. I mean, I read the whole site obsessively.

Yeah we could do that easily with an automatic MeFi Mail to the project poster.

My favorite part of all this is that upon noticing that pb had briefly put a test post on the front page, I, being nosy, sent him a MeMail being all "Whatcha doin'?" and the answer was "Putting in the feature you requested!"

Oh bliss, oh rapture!
Oh rapture, oh bliss!*
