Could we have the name of the poster in the RSS feed?
Oh and happy Christmas

Use xml.metafilter.com, it has the name of the poster, but doesn't follow the RSS format.

It was there before. I suppose I could append the title to read "by username" at the end.

Ashbury... I don't agree. No offense, but we've shown on a number of cases right here in MeTa that poster matters: it's all part of the context. We don't let people post links to their own material, we don't want folks shilling for their employers, we don't wan't members of specific organizations pushing those organization's agendas... and so on (ad nauseum).

I agree with ashbury. The RSS feed is simple by design. If you want the granular information, use the XML feed - which has all the information you can shake a stick at.

vis1on, I was just talking about the RSS feed. As far as the site itself goes, there is definitely a need to know who, if not what, why, how and where.
