I've not been here long, but already I want a pony. It's been addressed tangentially before: sort by recent comments." Add this to AskMefi - by monju_bosatsu and we desperately need a "My AskMe"but my specific desired feature is to have the ability to know if an AskMeFi question of mine (or MetaTalk question) has been commented on further since I last checked/logged on, even if it is on my 'user' page, rather than on the main pages. I couldn't find such a beast, so if it is there, please let me know.

I agree bookmarking the specific threads would get the job done, but what's the point of asking for a new pony if the donor could just say - "You already have a perfectly functioning bicycle" Thanks.

But why would you want the pony if you had the bicycle? Or rather...yes, go to your user page.

Roofie and bitch (sorry to mangle your nicks, but I couldn't resist - there's something ferret-like about that combination), going to my userpage shows me my posts, but doesn't show me if there have been any/ any-additional comments posted to them. I have to go to each one (click on the number and then click on the "show more detail" for the selected post) to see if there are new comments added to them since I last checked.

dabitch: Thanks
fixedgear: Yes, and for you, a single speed bike.
monju_bosatsu: I thought you might agree.

Ahh - I just figured out the confusing terminology in my first post. When I wrote "even if it is on my user page" I was suggesting that the implementation of my request didn't require that the notification appear as soon as I log in, but rather that I would be satisfied if such notification only appeared once I went to my user page. Sorry.

I think there may be something similar in the works right now.
*fingers crossed*
This would be a lovely pony, indeed. And going to your userpage doesn't help if you just want to see the recently updated threads without adding a useless "I'd love to see the answer, too" post to track it.
