I'd always thought MeFi site searches were pretty much comprehensive, but last night I came across several search terms that were clearly missing content. Has anyone else noticed this behavior in the past, or could this be a new bug? [more inside]

I’m not sure if this is a pony request or a bug report.... I often browse through AskMe by clicking repeatedly on the random button. On a desktop (using Chrome, modern theme), when I hit “back,” it takes me to last random thing I was looking at. On my phone (iPhone 8, modern theme), when I hit “back,” it takes me back to the last place I was before I started hitting the random button. Is this just me? I would prefer the desktop way. I used to see the links to "* Recent Posts/* My Favorites/* Popular Favorites/* My Comments/* Recent Comments" as tabs on the front page (like this example from MeTa). Now they look like this. [more inside]

A lot of my favorites aren't showing up on my favorites page, even though I do show up as having favorited (favored?) them if I go to the thread they were on. Am I missing something?

Using the 'plain text' theme has a very small problem. In MetaTalk if you click on the category/topic of a post, the page it takes you to has the category/topic obscured by a brown box. (Slashing because sometimes it's called a Category and other times a Topic.)

Recently I've begun seeing a ltitle dot just to the right of the cursor in the comment submission form (screenshot). Is this just an artifact of live preview or something? Happens in Firefox on Win.

Not trying to negate the Red Cross donation link, but the image transparency covers the "username / logout" links -- at least in Firefox -- making them unusable.

On some threads, at the bottom usually, the formatting gets messed up, i guess it's some tag people put in, but i don't see it. after the switch happens i can no longer post in the thread, although i have seen other people continue a thread with bad formatting. just wondering what it is, and, if it's a bad tag, maybe people can start closing them.

status message not updating correctly. I log on periodically and noticed today that though it says "no new links posted" (since my last visit) There are in fact several.

More logging-into-MetaTalk pain and dismay...

I'm at a new job as of this week and so am using a new computer, and I can't log in completely (it seems) to MetaTalk... I can log in and show up as logged in on the front page of MT or on a category main page, but when I click through to a thread there's no logged-in indicator and no posting form.

Similar/related to a problem where I can't seem to log *out* of (some pages on) MetaTalk, from home.

Matt, I emailed you about the latter a month or two ago, not sure if you got it though... if you did & are aware of the problem, please disregard this bug report and just work on getting me that pony.

Anyone else getting a ColdFusion error when they try to view the front page in Netscape? It works fine for me with IE, but not Netscape. Could the applet be causing this?
