An impatient pony: queuing FPPs?
I find that a lot of why I don't post as many FPPs as I used to is that I prefer to post them in the earlyish morning, although I might write them at other times, and in the afternoon I wind up going "well, I'll just submit it tomorrow." I also tend to get into spates of writing FPPs, and when I've just submitted one is (bar none) the time most likely for me to get excited and want to write another one. I would love the ability to be able to submit my FPP of the day before the 24-hour delay is up, so that it will be posted either at a time of my choosing or else when the 24-hour delay has ended. I think this would be something that would make posting FPPs easier, at least for me. Thoughts?
A Policy Question
Can anyone explain the policy of not notifying an anonymous poster why or even that a request is denied?
The MetaTalk queue, how it works, and possible policy change
I'm not clear on how the queue is working for MetaTalk, and was also wanting to revisit the queue system and how it's currently being used in order to gauge if policy changes should be enacted. [more inside]

To queue or not to queue
This post was immediately closed as being not appropriate for MeTa. And that's fine, I don't have any question about that decision.
But why was it even allowed to go up, now that there is a MeTa moderation queue? Shouldn't a mod just have said to the poster, "Hey, this isn't a good fit," rather than having it go up and closing it immediately?
A proposal for compromise on an Ask queue
I know this has been asked before but I think it's worth discussing it again. Rather than a full-fledged "queue" in which you'd enter multiple questions at once and they'd automatically post once a week ...what about just prompting by email when your week is up and you're eligible to post another question? Turning on the Metatalk queue
To help reduce the strain of managing the site with fewer mods, we're going to switch on the Metatalk post queue full time starting today. More details on that within. Also: have you updated your email address in your preferences recently? [more inside]
Cue the Queue
It's Thanksgiving time in the US. That means the MetaTalk Holiday Queue will be on so MetaFilter mods have a little more time with family and friends. [more inside]

It's queue time again. We're going to queue MetaTalk posts this Friday through Tuesday so they can be posted when there are enough moderators around to keep an eye on them. [more inside]

confused about how to successfully ask anonymously
If asked anonymously and waited for more than 4 days, and your question does not show up, does that mean your question was rejected? or it means you need to wait even longer. There got to be some response to it so you can decide on what to do next (rephrase your question, ask again using userid, or rephrase question, ask anonymously again hoping to get it pass through the second time). Please explain the policy to me.
MetaTalk Holiday Queue
Happy holidays everyone. As we did around US Thanksgiving, we're implementing a queue for MetaTalk posts over the next few days and then again around the new year. [more inside]
MetaTalk Holiday Post Queue
It's almost time for another major US holiday and we're trying something new here at MetaTalk this Thanksgiving: a post queue. [more inside]
I've got some questions...

Question queue?
How about a question queue? [more inside]
Queuing questions.
From time to time, after asking a question in AskMefi, I get a great question but forget about it because of the waiting period. I'm not questioning this rule, but it would be nice to have the possibility to create a certain number of questions in advance, and put them in some sort of queue, so one will not forgot to ask some good question.
A hiatus isn't a moratorium, but it'd be nice.
Suggestion to reduce complaint-filter: a MeTa queue similar to anonymous AskMe. If a complaint can be handled by an admin one-on-one, the admin can deny the requested post and take the conversation to e-mail. If it's a meetup request or a policy issue that seems worthy of discussion, the admin can approve it and let everyone chime in.
User posts new AskMetaFilter Queue
I just want to draw your attention to Plutor's new AskMetaFilter Queue, where folks who are worried about the 2-week AskMe posting limit can write questions that can be posted by folks who don't share that worry. I think it's a great communal idea, even if I'm fairly certain it will result in more questions being posted, at least temporarily.
I would like a slow pony.
I would like a slow pony.
I, question-filled as I am, would love it if I could front-load my AskMeFi questions which are then autoposted at the end of my week's delay. I'd even be happy if that happened a day later (8 days wait)...the important point is that I forget the question I absolutely needed to ask because I'm kind of dumb.
