Many mefites play MMO/MMORPGs and I thought it might be nice to create a space to share our contacts with one another so we can go on some raids together. Whether it's World of Warcraft (WoW), Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), Black Desert Online (BDO), Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV), Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2), Eve Online (EO), Star Wars The Old Republic (SWTOR), Guild Wars 2 (GW2), Runescape, Star Trek Online (STO), whatever MMO you play, let us share our gamer tags/contacts/character names and join in a virtual space of our choosing to get our game on.

We've received a large volume of user complaints in the last few months about performance issues with our current version of reality, and so today we're rolling out some fantasy instead to see if that can help take the strain off. I just noticed today that Lore Sjoberg's badgods.com is back up, and with it the official archives of Speak With Monsters, a.k.a. Monster Manual Comix, as lamented about a month and a half ago. Yaay!

This is my greatest stolen modified idea today. Metafilter hitpoints! We all get 5000 to start. Once you level up via unattacked thread posting, you can cast healing spells on your favorite, but inexplicably hated MeFi pals, or do double damage with Fireballs. Anybody who reaches zero has their account closed, unless someone ells resurrects you by sacrificing 3/4 of their remaining points.
