The activity pages for each user put the last thread commented in first on the page, but within each thread the comments are in chronological order. I think it would make more sense, and be more intuitive, to have both the thread and the comments in reverse chronological order. This would mean reading down the page would take you deeper into history until you came to the next thread.

My front page contact sidebar is no longer showing posts by contacts that have received the threshold of 12+ favorites, plus other odd behavior.

Pony: You know how on the "/activity" page there's a dropdown menu labeled "Showing activity from:", and you can choose from different subsites? It would be swell if this dropdown and site-selection appeared on the "/activity/myfavorites" page too.

Lacking confidence, I will not call this a pony. It's just a suggestion: how about setting that optionally removes moderators from the "contact activity" sidebar? I adore jessamyn, and many of her answers deserve to be favorites/best answers, but due to her high-profile here, my list has become a digest of jessamyn's activity, which crowds out all my other contacts. (This only affects people who have moderators as contacts.)

Would it be possible to have a search box on Activity subpages -- in other words, a search function that limits itself to a single user's comments or posts?

My Little Pony: On the Recent Activity page, next to the link "(remove from activity)" could we also have an "(end)" link that will scroll to the last item using relative anchor tags?

Is MeFi getting less international? This is entirely based on subjective impressions but it seems like we’re seeing a lot less posts outside of regular US waking hours. Is this just something that happens every 4 years because of all the election posts?

There ought to be a way to undo the "(remove from activity)" button on the Recent Activity page, since commenting anew doesn't do it.

Two issues with "recent activities" the
Secret Quonsar post no longer shows up in my recent activities page. It used to and I think the behavior changed when the thread was changed to a meet-up style thread. Also the favorite interface shows up by each comment in recent activity, but not the flag interface. Is this by design?

Did the recent changes to "Recent Activity" make it really inefficient? It takes forever to bring up that page now.

I was digging through my "Activity" and discovered that, in Safari, clicking on "Older" or "Newer" opened the next page in a new window. Clicking "Older" or "Newer" in
that window opens yet another new window. And so on...
Weirdly, clicking on "Older" or "Newer" in Firefox opens the pages in new tabs. Repeatedly.

I’m MetaFilter user 250, which makes me officially oldschool, but: I very rarely post on any branch; all my old posts are terrible (I checked); my recent posts on the blue are extremely conservative to avoid being terrible like the old ones (many are obituaries); and I pretty much live for AskMe.
I write a ton of things on my own sites, but I never really manage to write very much of use on the various Metas. This at least is my feeling.
I won’t insult anyone’s intelligence by asking “Is it really OK just to
read MetaFilter?” Of course it is. I am just wondering how many other early members really, truth be told, never got the hang of front-page posts and other high-profile “content.”
I’m saying this after reading through the archived contributions from some new people (with userIDs 40 times higher than mine), who are way the hell better at it. “We can’t all good at everything”? Or what? What is the right way to react to this?

I once found (and bookmarked)
this page of all of chococat's music. I like it because it has the little flash player, so I can listen to all of his tunes. How do I get to the same kind of page for other MeFi Musicians? I've tried looking on members' profile pages, but the link to all of their songs goes to the music parts of their Activity pages. Thanks.

There's a minor bug in the
activity page. It says "Displaying comments 1 to 50 of 490" while my profile page says I have 507 comments. Perhaps it's printing the number of total threads in which I've commented instead of the total of comments I've made?

Not exactly a feature request, nor a bug- anyway: is it possible for different views of the "activity by so-and-so {favorited}"
not to open up a new tab for each particular view?

I don't know if the 'Activity' link on the profile page is still a work in progress. But, if so, how about adding a little bit of context to the Favorited tab?
It's not very useful with just a couple of lines from the post and a date.

There's a new user history interface, at http://www.metafilter.com/activity/(your user ID). It's linked on user pages now and provides a consistent view of your posts, comments, and things favorited by others (including a new most popular favorited list from your history). Three cheers for
pb for building it, it should be much easier to use and more consistent than the previous way we did things.

When I go to "my posts" and then try to select "activity threshold" one month, the page always refreshes as 24 hours instead of one month. I can choose any other increment of time no problem.
I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.6 (5.0?) whatever that means on a Mac. Thanks.

It's a pony, but one a lot of people would want to ride, I hope.
I'd love to see an RSS feed of the comments of AskMe questions I post (and for that matter, blue and grey too, though separately), so that I can keep an eye on the responses to me over time.

Is it no longer acceptable to leave a comment with simply a period - "
." - in a thread so you can keep track of it via your profile page? I still see it happen in the blue but don't see it often in the green, and it now seems one of my comments like that was just deleted in the green... I don't want to piss on anyone here about that, just trying to figure out if it is cool to do it or not.

How much flak will I catch if I start using "." to mark threads that I want to track on my "My Comments" page? I ask because there are several interesting threads that I want to monitor but in which I don't necessarily wish to post a message.
