This is pretty strange and we've gotten 3-4 reports of members not being able to load anything on www.metafilter.com (ask, metatalk, everything else works) in just Google Chrome's latest version (Firefox/Safari work fine), on OSX. Anyone have any ideas what could be going on?

Grease my monkey, guvnor: Greasemonkey scripts get talked about a lot in Metatalk comments, and they seem pretty useful. I would like to ask our more Greasemonkey-oriented friends to recommend the best ones and discuss their experience of installing and using them.

I know that Plutor's MeFi ScrollTag extension is a 3rd party thing and not officially supported here, but..has anyone else found that it has stopped working correctly on the Blue, and only on the Blue? (relevant info: Mac, Snow Leopard, Chrome Version 22.0.1229.94)

Try to access Metafilter through Safari: success!! Try to access Metafilter through Chrome: routed to Mediaplex.com. Other websites are fine, this is only happening with Metafilter. Wassup with that. A problem on my end only or is this something happening to others, as well?

In-page youtube videos only will play the first one I watched. Refreshing or returning lets me play other videos, but after that, it still only lets me play the first one of that session. I'm using google chrome. (

Chrome weirdness : Something about the back button seems to get broken, especially after I post a reply in a thread, where I end up in an endless loop and can't back out of the thread unless I right click and choose something further back in the history. Anyone else experiencing this?

Google has once again updated its Chrome browser, and as I seem to remember happening before, the little buttons have disappeared from Metafilter's edit window, that allow you to easily create bold, italic text or a link.
