Washington, DC meetup this Sunday (day after tomorrow)?! I'm going to DC for a job interview on Monday. I'll be staying with my brother in Mt. Pleasant (the job is in Reston). Come meet me and give me advice about whether or not I should move to DC. Sorry for the short notice, but I wasn't sure this was happening until recently.

DC Meetup at the Freedom Walk? Anyone want to join me in crashing the Freedom Walk in DC on Sunday, September 11? We'll need to decide on a suitable t-shirt or other identifying markers to make our point -- I assume that they'll be banning picket signs etc. Those interested must register in advance.

I may be in D.C. for the inauguration. Anyone else? I've never been to Washington. Any tips for travellers? Or tips for someone going to a public gathering like this? I've been to a football game before, but I imagine this is a different type of get-together.
