I liked how the FPP's title set me up to be completely underwhelmed by the content.
If anything, we should be thanking reklaw for pre-emptively lowering our expectations so as to lessen the impact of its shittiness.

speaking of sony, I saw a youtube of the ps3 being taken apart. The thing has a fucking house-fan stuck in the bottom. I mean seriously 8 or 9 inches and the entire base is a giant heatsink. It's insane.

It's not exactly like Maddox is the only Sony hater out there. Plenty of people think the PSP is an unwieldy battery-life-sucking POS with a file format that can generously be described as "crippled at best". What you gotta do is start with the Maddox piece, find a couple more links to articles supporting that position, and then perhaps throw in an opposing view for flavor. Then it's a front-page post.

No, what he needs to do is find a better link than a inadequately expressed rant by one of the least interesting people on the internet. I've never even heard of Maddox before and it took me about twenty seconds to realize two things: he writes like a hack and his visual presentation suggests the same.

To be honest, I mainly thought it was interesting in a 'Sony-bashing goes mainstream' kind of way. Hence the additional link to Forbes. Probably should have done something closer to what clevershark said, but I didn't know where to start with all the thousands of pieces out there... so, uh, yeah.
I still think deleting anything by Maddox on sight is odd, though. Especially considering that quite a few people don't seem to have even heard of him.
