when I use blockquote, it screws up the formatting for the rest of the page (margin way-left). what should I be using instead?

when I try to go to the discussion on october 16 bug, I see a brief glimpse of the page, then it goes to "HTTP/1.1 404 Object Not Found".
It didn't do this yesterday.
