Gathering in Venice CA

I'll be in Venice, CA, from April 25 - May 9. Without a car. Since I never managed to make it to any Toronto gatherings, perhaps I could interest my American cousins in assembling for gimlets and other cocktails. [more inside]

Okay, I realize this may ridiculous and silly but... any Toronto MeFites interested in grabbing a drink... Tonight? Say, Annex or Danforth or Roncy, 9:30 or 10ish? I'm bored and it's apparently the saddest day of the year.

Weekly movies meetup in Toronto.
