I was intrigued by thirteenkiller's post about the possibility of an impressive ancient pyramid in Bosnia. Now I see the story is getting some traction. I went to the original post hoping to add the link as a comment; but, it said, "This thread has been archived and is closed to new comments."

Request: a way to mark our questions as resolved.
I'd love to see a "conclusion" feature to many of the askme questions. For instance, even if it's months later, I could go into a question I asked and mark it "concluded" and give a quick summary of what happened when I followed the advice.
Once someone marks something "concluded" it would go to its own "conclusions" RSS feed, which we could subscribe to if we want to know "the rest of the story" on many of the questions asked.

Don't get me wrong -- I want to know how stuff on AskMe turns out. I don't think MeTa is the ideal place for that, though. What about allowing askers to post a followup in their own threads, even if they'd been closed & archived, which would put that thread on a new page, like the "fantastic posts" page we have now, which could be called "resolutions" or "how'd it turn out" or some such.

AskMeFi followup - nearly 4 months ago, I asked this question about home theater searching. Ultimately, the guidance from that thread led me to save up for and purchase an appropriate unit. Was I really in the wrong here? I posted a question about my car stereo and I got a bunch of great answers. I thanked everyone and posted some additional information. A user posted a lengthy follow-up answer, which I appreciated. But then Thanksgiving, spotty Internet, and just life in general got in my way I didn't have a chance to mess with my car stereo, much less update my AskMe thread. (Frankly, it never occurred to me that people would be on tenterhooks about my Caprice's stereo.)
So then, seven days later, the same user posted this bizarre rant about how I never followed up with the thread. Was I at fault?

Let OP update closed posts in AskMe
This is perhaps indulgent, but it would be potentially useful in ask.mefi if the instigator of the thread could post just once after the thread has been frozen. Some questions resolve after several months, and it would be a possible benefit for those googling for information to see closure, i.e. "this is what ended up working the best, x was right" or what have you. Perhaps this is just imposing a false narrative closure on messy reality.

Lumpy Kitty Followup
I really don't know where to put this...
Mefites asked for an update on my lumpy kitty question. Unfortunately, the lumps in question were caused by Cutaneous Lymphosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. (My vet has only seen it 3 times in her 20 years of practice.) After the lumps appeared, she fell ill, and ultimately had to be euthanized two weeks ago.
I just wanted to pass the news along, and thank you all for the suggestions and help in the AskMe question. RIP Qu'Appelle, 1993-2005.

Mefite nudist arrested on child sex abuse charges
A freaky unfortunate turn of events: As an update on a very old thread on nudism that questioned and debated the gray area between nude adults and nudist children in the setting of a nudist colony, one defender of nudist culture from that discussion was arrested on charges of child sex abuse late last year (still being held awaiting trial afaict). It's freaky to go back and re-read the debate knowing what eventually came to pass.
