Any chance we can get a +fave link on the front page for each item, especially on the green? (I'm thinking Digg-style, AJAX based would be very pretty, though potentially too Web 2.0 for the likes of some Mefites...)

a week ago i made a post to projects of a bug-riddled site i was completely sick of working on. because of you guys, since then it's gotten like 20 bazillion visitors, been on 10 gazillion blogs (good ones, sometimes!) and even got a mention on some tv station in tennessee. the best part is that it isn't even complete enough to really be of any use to anyone! so i'd just like to thank you guys for sticking it on del.icio.us, stumbleupon, your blogs and wherever else and just plain making the internet hype machine work. metafilter rules!

Is there a quick and simple way to view all the projects I've ever voted for? I vaguely recall someone asking about votes in people's profiles ("...and voted for # projects") but I can't find it (or the answer)
Now that we have our favorites so nicely organized, I wanted to go back and find the projects I had previously voted for, because some of those were probably things I would also want to favorite.

If you disable images while viewing http://projects.metafilter.com, the link text under the white "Projects" egg reads "MetaTalk".
Default colours in Projects.
Default colours in Projects. The default purple denoting a used link in Projects is near impossible to read against the background colour. Any chance of a change?

Averages for projects?
A tiny, tiny pony...is it easy to find out what the average number of votes/feedback per Project is, for all time, and then just for this year? Thx! This is just a one-time thing, no wish for a full feature request.
Did my project get lost?
Did my project submission get lost? Or have admins just not had a chance to approve it? I only ask because it doesn't show up in my projects list at all, and I'm not sure if that's because it's not approved or I screwed up the submission somehow.

New Feedback for Projects
I just added a feedback mechanism to Projects. If you want to test it first, try it out here and let me know if you find any bugs. You can leave one bit of feedback on any Project, and only the author will see them.

Fix the footer?
The red footer on Projects rides too high on projects that have a few votes (obscuring the names of the voters). Example of my own projects page. I'm on Safari. Let me know if you need a screengrab.
Voting on Metafilter Projects?
Now that the contest is over, what is the point of having voting on Metafilter Projects? Anyone who wants to post the project to the front page can do so—no matter how many votes there are—and in most cases, having comments there instead of voting could provide the poster with valuable criticism and advice.

This thread thankfully got deleted, but it reveals something I'd consider a bug: someone can make a FPP (from a MeFi Project) on their first day.

Is Projects for alterting people to your own projects, or for telling people about a friend's blog that you find funny but realized it was too lame for the front page. I always figured Metachat was more for that sort of thing.

Self-linking for critique purposes?
Is it acceptable to post a self link in ask if you are looking for peer response to something you have done, ie ways to improve a site, suggestion on a book/article/song/video, and if not has anyone else ever suggested that a mefi peer review might be useful. Granted we enjoy flagellating each other as is, but it would be nice if we could solicit feed back. I understand that if such an option were available directly on projects it might lead to people slandering works of those they dislike, but surely some of us would like to actively seek criticism.

dead project. The link was to the ebay sale of this thing which ebay removed for whatever reason (copyright violation, maybe)? Maybe the link should be changed or the post deleted (and perhaps the poster could be allowed to repost another URL)

I recorded a lecture from a darn-good semi-prominent speaker on Wednesday and I'd like to post the recording on Projects. Several questions: Does the fact that I recorded the lecture make it a Projects post or is it okay for the Blue? Is it okay to post a rapidshare.de link to the WMA file as the project (or blue) post? If it is a Projects post, is it okay to post links-not-by-me in the Projects post to give some background on the speaker? Thanks.

So I had announced Last Comment Before Deletion on Projects. Then ND¢ had the bright idea of adding a section where wins could be recorded, which I added. However, it looks like I cannot go back and edit my Project, and even if I could, it would be way down at the bottom. Lucky for me, I am announcing it by way of this feature request, but please, think of future Projectees with the same problem. Love, poppo.

There was a funny anecdote posted in either AskMe or normal ole Metafilter about project priorities, where someone was telling about an initial list at their workplace being A-D, and by the end the highest was like AAAAA+ and nothing was less than A. Can anyone help me find it? I found it funny and want to note its URL for posterity's sake.

I run a project called MemoryWiki that collects and archives personal memories. I was wondering if I could repost some short memoirs from MetaFilter, namely, those on "life changing experiences" found here here. I will of course include a note on every memoir I repost stating that the source is Metafilter (and I'll include a hyperlink). MemoryWiki is non-profit (it's really just a hobby). Is this kosher? Projects formatting is suboptimal
projects doesn't have the usual wonderful (and i don't mean that at all) auto-format line break thing. but preview preserves html markup. so i'm kinda pissed that posting deletes the markup i added, leaving me with a lumpy squashed-together run-on paragraph thing.

Some friends of mine were stuck in a New Orleans during Katrina, and shot a documentary on HDV centering around the Superdome as shelter. They have a page up for the film, with a trailer and stills and whatnot. These are friends of course, and I've worked with them in the past, but I was not involved in this project. Would this be appropriate FPP material, or would it be dangerously close to a self-link? Or, for that matter, would a FPP about a movie trailer just suck to begin with?

what I really, really need is "comments" for Mefi Projects.
I know it's been discussed, but I think it might be important. Frankly, I've seen a few things posted that could use some further insight. I haven't been inclined to send things to the blue for further discussion, it should happen their on the (white)?
