Related Questions should appear in preview
I'd like to suggest that the "related questions" feature of Ask appear in the preview stage of posting a question. It may cause the asker to find their answer pre-posting (great for people who suck at searching, like me!) or rephrase their question in a manner that's more helpful and therefore cut down on the asker having to clarify repeatedly in the thread.
Opening up reasons for adding a contact...
Any way we can get an input box on the 'add as contact' page so that we can enter something that only we can see (on our own profile page) as to why we're adding someone as a contact? I find the provided options useless and I'd like to leave myself a note as to why I've added someone. Often, I'd even like to "link" them to a specific comment/post.
Can I See The Projects I Voted For?
Any way we can see a list of the projects we've voted for in our profiles? Right now it just lists projects we've made ourselves. (And, also, *that* page appears to be missing its left margin--it brushes right up against the edge of my Safari.)
City Guides Subsite?
cityguides.metafilter.com? How about it?
Inspired by Lougi's recent Askme Q, I suggest a section be set up where people can a) post requests for specific city info and b) post their fave tips for cities they know well. These threads could remain open indefinitely and be a great resource for people travelling or moving and would cut down on AskMe Q's about such things. If possible, perhaps a sidebar on Ask which just lists the names of the last 5 cityguide threads that have had activity would be a handy way to see when a city you know/care about has questions/activities.

AskMe tag bug and pony request
Bug and pony request: example page Bug - this is the list of questions tagged in Ask with publishing. When I get to the bottom of the page it lets me click on "older questions". However, many of the questions on page two are the same ones as those on page one. Feature request - Any way to get the name of the OP to appear on the tags page? Right now it just lists time and date. Thx.
I'm wondering if anyone's considered a sort of "MeFi Resources Pool".
I'm wondering if anyone's considered a sort of "MeFi Resources Pool". By that I mean a site where members can go and list things that they have access to and then when another member needs something they can check the pool to see if anyone else can help. For example, if someone needed a new X and someone else worked in an X store then person A could get X for a good deal and person B helps out another member. And, it just so happens that person A owns a book store, etc etc. Is this just a ridiculous idea because the person who owns the electronics store is gonna have 50 people asking for a good deal on a television or is this something that may be useful and if so, what's the best way for something like this to work?
