A Repost Question Button request.
I'd love to see a button (part of the 'best answer list') in an ask.mefi question that allowed (after say 7 or so days) a question to be 'relisted.'
Maybe the 'cost' should be less than 7 days wait (or the same as.) I wonder/think that some questions scroll so fast, that people may miss it; and a 'repost' question' would be helpful. Thoughts?

Sigh. I think the ask.metafilter rss is borked again.
I get this message:

Etiquette - are you allowed to post to ask.mefi with no comments at all in threads? (looked all over etiquette questions+wiki couldn't find the thread/answer)

It'd be very useful to see all the questions with only one to four responses...that often get scrolled by.

I want to know why. This was by far one of the Best Ask questions I've ever seen (over pet peeves.) I even flagged it as such. It was insightful, illuminating, and gave me great insight on others, as a writer, as a human being. Did it have a single answer? No. Was it a valuable question? Hell yes. Look at how many responses in such as short period of time.
Makes me want not to come here anymore. Close it instead. Deleting it robbed me of the perspectives of others. At least in closing it (Rather than deleting it) I'd have a chance to archive what I wrote (which is my copyright, isn't it?) and what others wrote.

Pony time. Every time I ask a question on Ask...I have a need to ask another one (before my 7 days are up.) I could get a second account...now I'd have two logins, etc. [MI]

So, I'm addicted to Ask, aka the green.
What I really want to do is subscribe to the comment threads - when a new post occurs, I want someone to run into my office (my home, my bedroom, whatever) and shout up and down the answer is here. Or there was a followup question. (6 new) just doesn't help - especially if a thread a scrolled off page.
Or it could be a little link on the homepage (customized for me for threads I'm watching/participating in.)

On the Green, I'm finding that it reports no questions since I've last logged on. Clearly there are new questions; additionally everything is fine (and correct) on the Blue

Can we have a search function for AskMe?
Matt, I'm in love with ask mefi. I have ideas for questions that I eventually want to ask (or research) but I want to make sure that it hasn't been asked before. Can we please have a "search" ask (rather than getting results from MetaTalk or the main filter?)
