Possibly problematic posts?
A couple recent AskMes have left me a little confused about how to address problematic, but not intentionally offensive assumptions. [more inside]

Viva quien vence... but, still...
I'm wondering if we should add a "History" category to Ask Me? I posted this today, and was surprised to find that we don't have this category choice. I wavered between "Grab Bag" and "Society and Culture" and finally went with the latter, though my impression of that category is that it's meant to address quite different, mostly contemporary questions... and checking past questions seems to affirm that it's not a great fit, though probably the best we have. I'm puzzled by an AskMe that I think is chatfilter.
I tag chatty questions and they almost always get deleted. Sometimes, though, I think a question is chatty but it doesn't. That's fine of course - I might just be wrong. [more inside]

What's the fake radar website?
Find-that-Question: A while ago there was a question about a website/application that would throw all sorts of cool little radar screens and such up on the screen. I think it ultimately was used to make a background in a news conference? I'm not sure. But can anyone find it? I'm tried searching for all combinations (wha? "combinations" isn't in the FF 3.5 dictionary) of computer, screen, movie, radar, and website. Help :/
Recent comments not appearing in AskMe
I went to post a reply in this AskMe thread and the 3 most recent comments I saw in Recent Activity seem to have disappeared. They've since also disappeared from Recent Activity. Bug or moderation?

Another request to find a lost MeFi post
I am trying to find the MeFi post to a YouTube video that features a little girl singing. The video was processed by the video poster by taking several snippets of a little girl talking, squealing, screeching and clapping a pair of flip-flops together. The result was an absolutely endearing "song", with a little synthesizer thrown in. [more inside]

To snoop or not to snoop
This question seems to be getting a bit derailed by whether or not it's justified to snoop in your partner's email. We've had this discussion before in RelationshipFilter and rather than derailing the next relevant question, I thought we could discuss it here.

I suppose the asker could be trying to escape the mafia...
Why is this AskMe about St. Paul, OR anonymous? I can't think of any possible reason for it to be so except to get around the once a week question limit (though I confess, I'm not sure if the software actually allows that). If we can get around the limit by asking any old question and making it anonymous, and the mods will approve it, why not take the limit away? And if that's not what's happening, I'm still not sure why it was approved; I just can't imagine why that question needs to be anonymous. [more inside]
What if it was real?
This question was deleted (and we all figured it would be), but I'm curious: What if it was for real? Did the mods contact the asker? Did he confess to it being a joke? If he said it was a joke, did you believe him? What if he really does have a dead body in his apartment? Do we just say "Oh well" or do the mods try to contact the authorities?

Cleaning up a suicide scene, no big deal?
The suicide scene wasn't cleaned up and the new flooring crew just took it all in stride and cleaned it up, really?
Not so much a "Is this true" question, though there is a bit of that, but more curiosity if anyone has been a part of a flooring or cleaning crew and had to deal with situations like those in the question. [more inside]

are medical questions above chatfilter?
Just curious and trying to understand the norms here: would this ask me medical question be chatfilter if instead of asking for reader's reactions to a given medication, it had asked for something else, say, "your experience with going to Stanford"?
