Metatalk layout in Firefox unusual
At least in Firefox for Mac, the layout of Metatalk is weird. There's no lefthand margin; and the top of the page contains these links, etc.:
MetaTalk is a discussion area for topics specific to MetaFilter itself, ranging from bug reports to feature requests to questions of content. The posts are sorted by date, and tagged by category.
Some helpful links:

I am very impressed with the new server.
I am very impressed with the new server. One bug: Mefi blue and Metatalk grey/brown are not nearly as vivid as they used to be. If I enable colorsync on IE, things look fine, but that was never necessary before "(and AOL seemingly prevents me from keeping colorsync on). Can this be corrected?
MeTa Errors
The Error Messages are getting more and more frequent in Metatalk. Yes, this is a double post, but sufficiently urgent. The most recent one was: http://metatalk.metafilter.com/comments.mefi/8590#99606
using IE5.0 for Mac.
And yet another error message when I tried to post this on--oh cruel irony!

Community HTML fixes
I like the fact that posters can leave HTML tags unclosed and that other people come along and "save" the page. It builds communty strength. Even if a way is devised to automatically close tags, I vote against implementing it.
(and I don't like that I am incapable of editing copy on a computer screen and don't notice errors until it's too late.)
